Contemporary Art Exhibition Exploring Environmental Issues

Please join us for Free Spirit – an exhibition exploring how art interacts
with environmental issues.

To celebrate 25 years of making the law work for a better environment, the
UK Environmental Law Association (UKELA), kindly supported by international
law firm Simmons & Simmons, has teamed up with artists to find out how art
can work for a better environment.

The night will feature a new breakthrough British contemporary artist, Sandy
Curry (featured), together with work by renowned artists Tracey Emin,
Cornelia Parker, Michael Landy, Abigail Lane, Gillian Wearing, Tacita Dean,
Luisa Roa and more.

The exhibition will be displayed on the mezzanine level of Simmons &
Simmons’ London office. Introductions will be given by Introductions will be
given by Begonia Filgueira (ERIC Ltd) and James Taylor (Simmons & Simmons),
UKELA’s Vice Chairs.

Featured artist Sandy Curry will be giving a brief talk on why she uses tar and oil as a medium for her
enigmatic paintings.
